Cornerstone Technologies adding around 400 charging points in Hong Kong

To support the popularization of electric vehicles and charging facilities in Hong Kong, Cornerstone Technology announced that it has participated in five government projects to add about 400 electric vehicle charging stations in Hong Kong’s urban and suburban areas. Including 90 filling stations in public parking lots, public recreational facilities, suburban areas and shopping centers, which includes 19 recreational facilities under the Department of Leisure and Cultural Services, including sports fields, children’s playgrounds, swimming pools and public beaches. In addition, a total of 153 electric vehicle charging stations have been installed in two multi-storey government parking lots in Kwai Fong and Kennedy Town. Cornerstone Technology has also teamed up with the Housing Department to take the lead in the installation of electric vehicle charging stations in large shopping malls in Kwun Tong District, and is gradually expanding its services to more residential and shopping malls. The 400 new filling stations will serve Hong Kong residents along with the 700 existing filling facilities at Cornerstone. When electric vehicle users use the charging station to charge the car, they only need to pay the electricity bill with Octopus through the terminal, which is simple and convenient.
